Bi-direction Wrap Spring Cluth:
The TOPPICAL system consists of multiple wrap spring acting on a
heat stabilized, glass fiber reinforced plastic core. This design
privides mechanical connection between the roller shade tube and
mounting brackets to ensure stationary positioning in the static
mode. In the dynamic mode the wrap springs release, allowing the
control set to turn and reducing friction on the cluth core. |
| 2. |
Cluth Components: Mechanical components are
thermally stabilized to eliminate any functional variability due
to operational or environmental effects. |
| 3. |
Wrap Spring Friction Area: Wrap spring control
set system utilizes up to 6.93 square cm of friction area. |
| 4. |
Closed System: Internal components are not
accessible. |
| 5. |
Drive Pulley: Clutch is operated by one piece
drive pulley. |
| 6. |
Adjustment Free: Clutch never requires any
adjustment, either upon installation or afterward. |
| 7. |
End Plug: Consists of an outside sleeve, rotating
freely on a center shaft, providing the bearing surfaces on which
the roller rides. Outsides sleves and center shaft are constructed
of a heat stabilized glass fiber reinforced plastic. This design
provides smooth, wear resistant operation. |
| 8. |
Infinite Positions: Infinite number of shape
positions achievable without backlash. |
| 9. |
Universal Mounting Brackets: Mounting brackets
are capable of mounting inside, outside or to the ceiling, with
the control set on either end of the roller. |
| 10. |
Bracket Material: All brackets are constructed
of 2.3mm thick, painted or nickel plated, C1008/1010 cold rolled
steel. Painted brackets are finished with a high quality baked enamal
coating. |
| 11. |
Plastic Quality: Plastic components are constructed
of glass fiber reinforced polyester themopolymer (PBT), conforming
to military specification MIL M-24519. |
| 12. |
Rotating Chain: The drive chain is #10 plastic
bead chain, with upper and / or lower stops. |
| 13. |
Multi-Band Shade: A single tube can handle
two or more shade cloth bands permitting a single operator to adjust
the shades, assuring constant alignment. |
| 14 |
Shade Colth Area: Up to 6.1m wide and 4.6m
high shade cloth areas can be raised and lowered by a single operator.
| 15. |
Hardware: All hardware is bidirectional and
can be used for either left-hand or right-hand operation. |
| 16. |
Fascia: Fascia panel hooks on the top of the
fascia brackets and snaps in place. Fascia mounting brackets support
the roller tube and the fascia panel. |
| 17. |
Wall-to-Wall Fascia: Bracket assembly permits
fascia to extend past the brackets, creating wall-to-wall fascia.
| 18. |
Fascia Material: Fascia is made of extruded
aluminum (alloy/hardness 6063 T5) with an average thickness of 1.7mm.
Fascia panel is finished with an electrostatically applied, baked-on
coating oranodized. |
| 19. |
Fascia Brackets: Construsted of 1018 cold
rolled steel 2.3mm thick, finished with a high quality baked enamel
coating. |

Warranty: Failure of any component will be
replace at no charge, subject to warranty conditions. |
